Jinx is a bad spirit or a hopeless situation. In this short dancefilm the jinx is stronger then two breathtaking women, dancing their last dance.
A telephone and a car are the only attributes, a lonely road between sea, sand and wind is the location. The world seems to be empty, the landschape is artificial, the elements rage. A short, rough film in vivid colours.
Jinx is a collaboration of Karel Doing and the Rotterdam based dance-group Lieber Gorilla.

Jinx is een boze geest of een hopeloze situatie. In deze korte dansfilm is de jinx sterker dan twee adembenemende vrouwen die, ondanks hun hechte band, elkaar ten gronde richten.
Een telefoon en een auto zijn de enige attributen van de twee danseressen. Zij dansen temidden van zee, zand en wind op een verlaten weg. De wereld om hun heen is leeg, het landschap kunstmatig, de elementen razend. Een ruige film in felle kleuren.
Jinx is een samenwerkingsproject van Karel Doing en de Rotterdamse dansgroep Lieber Gorilla.
