Lichtjaren directed by Karel Doing Part of the collection of Eye Film Institute Abstract lightplay that slowly reveals it's secrets. The film consists of three layers: animation of streetlights, filmstrip treated with bleach and a performance shot with long shutter speeds. The electronic music by Joost Rekveld is based on radio-signals. Abstract lichtspel dat langzaam zijn geheim prijs geeft. De film is opgebouwd uit drie lagen; een animatie van straatverlichting, een filmstrook bewerkt met bleekwater en een performance gefilmd met lange sluitertijden. De electronische muziek van Joost Rekveld is gebaseerd op radio signalen
